– Samurai Noir: 130 km (81 miles)
– Skyleap: 100 km (62 miles)
Q04. How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
Charging time depends on battery capacity and charger power output.
Please refer to the product specifications for model‑specific charging times.
Fast charging: approximately 2.5 hours for a full charge.

Ternary lithium battery (NMC lithium‑ion).
Q06. Can the battery be removed for separate charging?

Registration and Legal Use
Q12. Can this electric dirt bike be registered or licensed?
Whether the bike can be registered or licensed depends on its classification in your state and local laws.
In California, most high‑performance electric dirt bikes intended primarily for off‑road use are typically registered as Off‑Highway Vehicles (OHV).
Once registered, the vehicle usually receives an OHV identification sticker, plate, or registration device from the DMV – not a standard highway license plate.
If you wish to obtain a highway license plate, the model must meet the requirements for on‑road motorcycle registration and comply with all applicable:
Safety standards
Vehicle equipment requirements
Documentation requirements
State regulations
Federal regulations
Q13. What is required for OHV registration in California?
California OHV registration generally requires:
A Title or Registration application form
Proof of ownership
Manufacturer’s Certificate / Statement of Origin (MCO/MSO)
Title, Invoice, or an acceptable Bill of Sale
Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
Vehicle verification (if required)
Payment of applicable DMV registration fees and taxes
After approval, the vehicle may receive an OHV identification sticker or registration device, allowing legal access to designated OHV areas.
Q14. Can this bike be licensed for highway use?
It is possible, but not all electric dirt bikes qualify.
To be registered as an on‑road motor vehicle, the bike must generally meet the classification requirements for a motorcycle or other legal road vehicle.
Depending on the vehicle type and local regulations, you may need:
A valid VIN
Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin or Title
Proof of ownership
Proof of insurance
A valid motorcycle license (where required)
Headlight
Taillight
Brake light
Turn signals (if required by law)
Rear reflectors
Horn
Mirrors (if required by law)
Compliant tires
Compliant braking system
Other legally required safety equipment
Compliance with applicable state and federal vehicle standards
Important: Simply adding lights, mirrors, or turn signals does not automatically convert an off‑road motorcycle into a street‑legal vehicle.
Q15. Do I need a motorcycle license to ride this bike?
If riding only on private property or in certain off‑road areas, requirements may vary by location.
If the vehicle is registered as a motorcycle or motor‑driven cycle and operated on public roads, a valid motorcycle license or endorsement is typically required under local law.
Always check with your local DMV for specific requirements before riding on public roads.
Q16. Can I ride this electric dirt bike on public roads?
Only if the specific model has been legally registered for highway use and is permitted for public road operation.
Many high‑performance electric dirt bikes are sold as:
OFF‑ROAD USE ONLY
Such vehicles should primarily be used on:
Private property
Legally designated OHV areas
Other locations where off‑road vehicles are permitted
Laws vary by state, county, and city.
Q17. Can I ride on public OHV trails?
Yes, in many areas, provided the vehicle has the required:
OHV registration
Permit
Identification
Sticker or other required documentation
Some parks or riding areas may have additional restrictions, so always confirm local regulations before riding.
Ownership and After‑Sales Support
Q18. What routine maintenance does the vehicle require?
Common maintenance items include:
Checking tire pressure
Inspecting brake pads
Checking brake fluid
Inspecting chain or drive system tension
Inspecting suspension
Checking and tightening bolts and fasteners
Inspecting electrical connectors
Properly charging and storing the battery
If the bike is used frequently for high‑intensity off‑road riding, more frequent inspections are recommended.
Q19. What kind of warranty is provided?
Warranty coverage varies by brand and model.
Please refer to the specific warranty policy for your model, which typically covers:
Motor
Battery
Controller
Frame
Other key components
Q20. What is the return policy?
Return eligibility, allowable mileage, vehicle condition requirements, restocking fees, and return shipping costs vary by retailer and manufacturer.
Please carefully review the applicable return policy before making a purchase.
Legal & Registration Disclaimer
Vehicle registration, license requirements, and road‑use regulations vary by state and local jurisdiction.
Electric dirt bikes may be classified differently from traditional electric bicycles and may fall under motor‑vehicle categories.
Some models are intended for off‑road use only and may not meet on‑road registration requirements.
It is the consumer’s responsibility to verify all applicable DMV and local government regulations regarding registration, road use, and public‑land access before purchasing or operating the vehicle.

My pedals are not 180 degrees off from each other and I don’t know how to fix. Also the screws should be self-guided.

My son love to ride it and as of me it suite my driving needs. The only concerns that bothers me is the sound or noise coming from the front brake and when you hit a bump it so noisy on the fenders. Overall love riding it and the power coming from the battery, 50miles for a full charge, thats a lot. And hope there’s a lot more accessories coming, like side mirrors and parts that we can buy at Aotos site. More power and regards to Aotos team.
